Glasgow School Of Art

The Glasgow School of Art, developed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, is an art school in Scotland offering degrees in design, fine art, and also architecture. The school developed in two phases showcases a perfect blend of traditional Scottish and Art Nouveau style. In the early 1800s, William Harley created the area Garnethill. Also, Mackintosh designed most of the buildings for the school between 1896 and 1909.

Secession Building

This exhibition hall by Joseph Maria Olbrich opened its doors in 1898. The Secession Building stands out as one of the Art Nouveau gems and also as a meeting place of Secession artists. The Synagogue was designed to honor Franz Joseph I of Austria’s Silver Jubilee. It held its original name at the time of creation in 1906 until 1918 when it became Jerusalem Synagogue following the independence of Czechoslovakia. This popular hotel in Prague was the first building in the city that depicted the art nouveau style, and the popularity of the building resulted in the construction of many other Art Nouveau buildings. The cream & mint color hotel subsequently captures a great eye for detail. A handful of architects, including Bedrich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryák, worked on it from 1899 to 1902. The infamous hotel has been appealing the travelers because of its beautiful exteriors and stunning accommodation.

Agoudas Hakehilos Synagogue

Regarded as the 4th arrondissement of Paris, Agoudas Hakehilos Synagogue is a masterpiece by Hector Guimard. The Art Nouveau architect erected the building between 1913 and 1914. The famous building features an exterior motif, continuous columns, and elongated windows. Also, the Ten Commandments inspired the motif design. Further, the exterior has white stone construction while the structure is made of reinforced concrete.
